I am amazed that this tool makes such a great tool for me. I am having trouble opening just about everything. This tool makes everything easier. I can get rid of things that just don't work and have much more space with this one tool. It is a real value for the money and it really works!!
This is a very handy tool. I bought it for someone with hand strength issues, however it is too difficult for them to use. I like it though, and feel it is a high quality sturdy kitchen tool.
Sorry I can't get it work properly it is for me a piece of garbage I don't know what I'm doing wrong with it and I've bought other things from this company and they're great especially the battery operated can opener they're fantastic so it might just be me doing something wrong with it I should watch a video I will soon one day it was a lot of money it was expensive for something for something I can't get to work properly.
I find it works well to remove screw tops that are within a normal size range, e.g. soft drinks and screw top wine bottles. It also does a reasonable job breaking the vacuum on jars (my main need). However, I didn’t find that it worked with pull-top can lids, as the cans aren’t wide enough for it to get the needed leverage. I expect it would be fine with the sardine can pictured, as its greater width should suffice. However, this is not a need I have.
What a handy tool! Compact & multifunctional.
This is much like many out there. Doesn't do anything different. Does not have a quality feel about it at all. Up close and personal I'm surprised about the price. I looked at it and thought if I had seen it in a store what would I be willing to pay for it? Looks like it should cost $10 tops. Which is what I paid for a different but similar one that does the same stuff. Get the other brand that looks like an owl. Also magnet not strong enough for device to stick on fridge as shown.
Like many, I struggle to open bottles & jars. For bottles, this has a ratcheting process that allows anyone to open them. It takes a minute to get used to it, but once you do you open them quickly. It opens jars by using the pry tool to pop the air tight seal. Once you pop it, jars are a breeze. It also has a slot for pull tabs and a hook for rings to assist with cans. Easy to use. Saves your hands. Expensive, but worth it. Keep your independence and open everything yourself.
