I like the product and think the quality is fine. The problem I have is my own problem. I suspect the rack will work great if your lid has a knob as pictured on its page. If your lids have handles like mine, the product will not hold lids in place.
Should have read the reviews first. Very poor quality. Basically spent $30.00 for a product that should have cost $3.00. If you're think of buying one read the reviews before you do.
Updated ReviewMy husband was pretty skeptical about how useful this was going to be, until he used it yesterday for a larger glass lid for the skillet he was using to cook lunch. He has been completely won over and we LOVE this product!!0riginal ReviewThis is truly a product I needed. So, why only four stars instead of five, I will get to that but I want to tell you why I love it. I hate beyond words having to put a towel down so my lid doesn't mess up my clean stove or counter, let alone the space it takes up.So, the good and bad... the good is that it will hold up my very heavy cast iron lid, the bad is it doesn't exactly fit where the handle would be cradled in the U portion. If the holder was just slightly bigger, it would fit better. Additionally, the bad, if you have a handle that is not round, the U shaped portion will not hold these types of lids. But the good, the holder still will work for these, just a but differently. If the U shaped portion was inverted the other direction then it would absolutely work better for these types of lids. So, functionally, it works, but keep your larger or heavier lids on the bottom rung.The color is a neutral gray, which is my preference, so obviously I like it.My reason for only giving four stars wasn't the way the lids fit, but rather the stand base isn't completely flat so it wobbles a little. Otherwise, I absolutely think this product is a good value for the money and I am glad someone made a product that keeps me from having to get liquid everywhere or burn myself in the process of picking up a lid I put upside down to try to prevent making a mess. The cherry on top is the bottom piece of the base can act as a place to put my spoon or spatula, reducing clutter.
