Good non-slip mat with light padding - Not true anti fatigue

I got this because I spend a lot of time standing in my kitchen while cooking and wanted something that would not slide around and might help a little with back and foot discomfort. When I first took it out, it did have a rubbery smell, but that faded after being out for a bit. The mat measures true to size at 17 by 30 inches and fit perfectly in front of my sink. The surface feels fine underfoot and looks neutral enough to blend into the kitchen without standing out.In use, it does exactly what it claims in terms of staying put. It does not slip at all on tile, which was important to me. It is easy to clean and wipes up well after spills. The downside is the thickness. It is fairly thin, and I can feel the grout lines from my tile floor through it when standing. It offers some padding, but not enough to relieve fatigue if you stand for long periods.I gave it 4 stars because it works well as a non-slip kitchen mat and has some cushioning, but it is not a true anti fatigue mat. For the price, that is not unexpected, since real anti fatigue mats usually cost much more. If the description did not lean on the anti-fatigue aspect, this would easily be a 5-star item. It is a good choice if you want something that stays in place and adds a little comfort without spending a lot.

Good fit for our kitchen

This is a nice, neutral colored kitchen rug that fits perfectly in front of our stove. It has a sturdy slip-free rubber backing, plus a stylish and attractive weaved texture on top. It's not stiff or scratchy but isn't as cushy as I hoped, either. The material does make it very easy to clean, though. It's absorbent, stain resistant, wipes clean easily and is very vacuum friendly. Since it's placed right in front of our biggest mess causing appliance, easy cleaning is a high priority for us. I'm hoping we'll get a lot of good use from this rug.

This is a good mat

This is a great mat. It seems to be well made and so far is holding up great. It's way better than standing on a hard floor and provides some unsulation from the cold floor.The materials feel good and I really like the beefy layer of rubberized textured material across the bottom of the mat for extra non slip grip.Overall I would say this is a good value and I can recommend it.

Holds up in busy kitchen

I have the small size of 30” x 17”. I do have a small kitchen but I wish this mat were bigger. It covers only the area on which I am standing at the time.I have a busy kitchen and this mat has held up well. So far, it is durable, wear resistant, and comfortable to stand on for extended stretches like when preparing food. The clean and simple design does not match my decor but “fits in” as a kitchen accessory.The materials and fabrication work well in the kitchen with catching spills and debris. It is also easy to sweep or wipe clean. There is a non-slip backing which is quite strong. That quality is imperative for me in the kitchen.
