Great set and great size!

I needed some new tongs as my previous ones rusted out at the joint. I liked these because they are slightly shorter than what I had and honestly, I love that! They don't take up as much room in the drawer, and are still super effective without getting your hands too close to the heat. I primarily cook with silicone utensils when I can because I have a few non-stick pans in the mix and like to prevent scratching. I also really like the built-in stands in the handles. This way you can set it on the counter and it won't get your counter wet/dirty. They are washing fine in the dishwasher. My only concern - and it seems that most tongs eventually fall victim to this - is the pivot point degrades and fails. So far so good with this set, but time will tell on how the hinge holds up. But for right now I would definitely recommend these.

Easy to use and durable

These seem very well made. I like that they have a foot to keep the dirty surface off the counters. They have a piece that pulls out of the top a little to lock them closed, which makes storage easier. They do take up a bit of space in a drawer but you can hang them from the loop at the top. They make flipping dumplings and similar foods very easy.

Great set of tongs. Can anyone EVER have too many gadgets? No!

I am very pleased with these tongs.Granted this set may not be the top quality of “Oxo Good Grips Tongs” but neither are MY needs. These are great for me.Set arrived just as shown. I had never thought I would need/use “three distinct silicone-tipped designs for gripping, flipping, and serving” until I saw this advertisement; now I am sure I will continue to use all three.The nine inch size is good for most active handling; that is serving things that can be closer to the hand. Consider the longer set if you think you will be using the tools more for hot/heated food. The nine inch size may put your hand too close to grill, for example. But the 12 inch size may be better for that purpose.The “Pull-Ring Locking Mechanism” works with faultless ease and is imperative for some uses.All three tongs have gone directly from use to dishwasher to drawer harmlessly.

Great Kitchen Helpers

This set of three tongs is made of stainless-steel with spring arms. The other parts of the arms and the ends are all silicone covered.You can feel the stainless-steel underneath the silicone so they are not flimsy at all.They have an eyelet on the back end of them so they can be hung up but one of the best features is they have V-shaped arms on them so you can set them on your counter and the food touching ends do not touch the counter.The only thing I wish it had was a clip so they can be held closed when they are stored away, so they just sit in the drawer splayed open.We like them and they are getting good use in our kitchen.

These work for light use, but quality could be better

These are decent tongs for light use. I like that they’re silicone coated as I wanted to avoid cooking with plastic. But the regular tongs have a very loose handle, it seems they were not assembled with care to ensure a tight fit. I’ve also noticed that the part that comes in contact with the food is quite flexible, and I have accidentally bent the tines on the spaghetti tongs a few times due to this flexibility. I am not sure if this is a feature or a bug, but I expected the tongs to be more rigid and sturdy. Overall they will work okay, but I’d prefer a higher quality set.
