I got this for my friend who makes butter with kitchen aid, which can get really messy. My friend absolutely loved it, and I think it works better than OEM cover if you are looking into making something very messy. You can use this cover while you are running than 5 qt. mixer.
Where have these covers been all my life! 1st photo is a 12 cup glass bowl came with mixer. The lids are too small. 2nd photo is a stainless 3 quart, the lids are too big. The 3rd photo is a stainless 5 quart, the lids fit just right. This is the bowl I use the most and why I bought the lids. The lids fit snug and have a small opening to add ingredients. I highly recommend to anyone that bakes. Eliminate flying flour and liquids. They also double as a bowl cover.
I’ve been wanting to buy this for a few years and always put it off but finally ordered it and it’s perfect! Works exactly as it should.
Works really well for keeping flour in the bowl; because it fits so tight it's really hard to put on. However I'm not using it weekly, so maybe it would be easier to put on if it was used more often.
Easy to use and fits perfectly on my KitchenAid. Keeps everything in the mixing bowl and helps keep your countertop clean
Should work well enough. The plug for the top is a little loose though.
