This feels so good to cook with and cleans up easily. Feels long-lasting and sturdy. Quality cookware
It is a nice product with equal heat distribution.
The pan itself is nice but the lid is horrible. The lid holds water where the glass meets the metal and cannot be removed. You end up with some nasty water buildup that eventually dries into a goo and is stuck in the lid.
If you're serious about cooking and baking, but new to the kitchen...or maybe just starting out and not ready to spring for a full set of restaurant-grade equipment, start collecting one professional pan at a time. One pan you want in your kitchen is this sweet saute' pan. The glass lid let's you see how things are cooking whilst retaining the heat and flavor. The extra handle is a real bonus for draining or lifting (professional 3-5 ply pans are seriously heavy for a reason). The pan cooks well, is easy to maintain, has lots of room for making larger recipes... Make this one of your first investments in your journey to pro cooking. Enjoy!
The base of this pot is fairly thick and heavy, which means it won’t warp under repeated use of high temperatures like the cheaper pans will. The only downside to having the pan that heavy on the bottom with the diameter pan that it is is that when you try to turn the pot on its side for cleaning in the sink, it can be difficult to turn and even harder to turn when you are wanting to tilt the pot up and maybe use a kitchen spoon to put leftovers into a dish to save. Basically I’m pointing out the one downside to a fairly well constructed and heavy duty pan. But I was very happy with the construction of the pan. Until they come up with something like carbon fiber for frying pans, this meets all my expectations.
It is heavy….must use hot pads on cover and handles
