These KitchenAid oven mitts are both beautiful and practical — the passion red/bordeaux color combo looks great hanging in the kitchen and adds a pop of color without being too loud. More importantly, they do their job exceptionally well. The heat protection is excellent — I’ve used them to pull cast iron pans and baking sheets straight from a 425°F oven without feeling a thing. Fantastic Protection but Ugly
I burnt my arm near my elbow on a hot sheet pan pretty badly the other day then noticed little scars along my arms from other sheet pan burns and searched for extra long oven mitts. I purchased these because I trust the brand. They are thick in a way that feels good to me, I won’t feel the heat through these mitts like I was starting to with my old potholders I’d been using for years. They’re comfy and soft inside but not super flexible, if that’s important to you. I bought them for $11.99 which is excellent value. My favorite part is that they go down pretty much to my elbows. I have a bad tendency to try to rest a larger hot pot or pan on my inner arm to get a better grip and finally have oven mitts that cover the whole area! I don’t know why I didn’t think to get extra long oven mitts literally ever before in my life lol.The one star off is because they’re kinda ugly and because they’re extra long it’s like extra large ugliness. I’m at the point where I need function over style or I’ll keep burning myself as long as I keep cooking but if I didn’t need the extra length or if I were more willing to gamble on a brand unknown to me or even if I wanted to spend a bit more I would’ve picked out something more aesthetically pleasing.

Absolutely Best.
These large mittens are a game changer as the other ones I have are not this long!Even the half mittens don’t compare. I also gave one set as a gift.. highly recommend these they go all the way up to your forearm and very safe as I’ve burnt my arm with the other ones that are lower. Purchase these you won’t regret.!
