Very sharp and sturdy. Pushes through most apples smoothly. We bought it to also cut up sandwiches and burgers for a disabled family member to enjoy eating by using a fork. It works well. We make him his cheeseburger with all the condiments and then cut down with this cutter to transfer into his bowl.
Sharp and seems to be well made. Ergonomic also.
I use this slicer all the time! It cleans up well, and does the job. It’s also big too, so it can cut larger apples.
Growing up, my family always had fresh cut, seasonal fruit every morning and evening. As an adult, I love eating fruits, but honestly hate the process of cutting apples. I like that this slicer makes that very easy and it’s great for meal prep as well. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that I find that I really have to push my body weight into it in order to get it to slice through cleanly.
My old slicer broke so I searched for one with durable looking plastic. This did not disappoint. It’s super sturdy and works great. It’s nice and sharp. It’s not a nightmare to store either.
Works well, even with large apples. Fits in drawers really well because of its lower profile, which is the main reason I purchased it.
I am very pleased with this item. It cuts apples perfectly. You can tell the quality of this item as soon as you use it. I definitely see this lasting a lifetime. It is easy to clean, and can cut a large apple if need be.
