Great serving spoon! Solid investment!
Sturdy, durable, washes well, has not flaked or gotten rough around the edges with high heat use (crock pot and soups, not an open flame or cast iron). I really like using this. It has some weight to it, does not bend, and is the longer style. We have the solid one as well, and we use them often! It is also more deep than it's less expensive peers/ We hand wash all non-metal utensils, including this one. Cleans easy. Enjoy!

Best quality available (for plastic)
Good quality. A bit larger than a normal size slotted spoon, which is great. I prefer plastic spoons to metal ones, and this one will last a long time. I liked it so much I immediately ordered a 2nd one, 2 regular spoons, and a soup ladle from the same company. The order delivered within 24 hours.

Works as intended - but I would have preferred the red in hindsight.

Solid Good design
I like these a lot!Realistically its a great plastic spoon.. its not meant to deal with high heat. I can't expect it to be flame proof. Buy metal if you want something that won't melt in fire.Buy these if you don't want to damage your nice non-stick pots/pansThe utensil is rigid and doesn't bend/flex when using it.I would have preferred a one piece design although, the handle is heavy and solid.. it looks like it may be hollow , it is not. So water and other food particles can't get into the handle. Very good design. It is top rack dishwasher safe.Sturdy...yes.. better than all the rest I researched prior to purchasing. Its plastic, be realistic here, we are not excavating a foundation. use it for its intended purpose and you will be happy for a very long time.Gas/propane flame on a stove is almost 2k degrees. No plastic can endure that temp. These are not meant to be left in pans. Heat traveling up the side of the pot will melt any plastic handle, or having this sit in the middle of a pot with no food in it will melt the utensil end.
