First time purchasing a Kitchenaid pot and the quality is amazing. This pot is non-stick and very easy to clean. The lid does get hot so make sure to use pot holders. Other than that the pot was good value for the cost.
Perfect pot for making pasta, soup, the right size for my recipes which are for 2 but I've boiled a pound of pasta and still came perfect. This pan isn't too heavy it's not too big and it's not too small it's exactly what I wanted very happy with it I feel it's made very well too and it is nonstick and very easy to clean
Good balance, strong and comfortable handle, outside finish is excellent, the inside ceramic finish is the best, so easy to clean, glass lid, ultimate 3 qt pot
If you are looking for a small pot, this is a pot to purchase. You just have to make sure that you only use a wooden spoon, which prevent you from scratching the inside of the pot. I bought 4 pots different colors and I am pleased with my purchases. Based on my personal experience, I would definitely recommend.
UPDATE:Even though we don't use any metal utensils with this, we found that the finish is starting to chip off several places inside the pan after just 6 months.ORIGINALI purchased this to replace an older pan with a flaking, dubious nonstick coating. WOW. This pan has been a dream. Light weight but sturdy and the coating is really smooth but durable.
this is an amazing saucepan. It makes me want to get all of my other pots and pans by KitchenAid as well.
I really love my Kitchenaid pistachio cookware. I wanted non-stick ceramic instead of teflon. I started with a basic set of 6 pans then added to my collection the more expensive pans that must be purchased separately. Amazon had those pans on sale so I snapped them up. I did see a review that said they were hard to clean and stain easily. I only had that problem when pan frying salmon burgers that were frozen. I used a little water instead of oil and pieces of the burger stuck to the pan and wouldn't wash off. The solution is to pour table salt onto the pan and add a little water and let it sit for a few hours. Then it all washes away easily. I now prevent that sticking problem with a little avocado oil and it works fine.
