Lightweight, Durable Mixing Bowls That Nest Properly and Perform Well
These have been excellent. They match other KitchenAid products in the same shade absolutely perfectly and feel consistent with the brand’s usual build quality. The plastic is lightweight but sturdy, and after many dishwasher cycles there’s no warping, clouding, or loss of finish...even after two months of regular use!The nesting design is genuinely efficient. Some other competitors' bowls technically nest but still take up a tall footprint. These drop fully into one another and store cleanly without wasting vertical cabinet space. The non-slip bases work as intended and prevent the bowls from sliding while mixing.Each bowl handles any stirring utensil without scratching, unlike stainless options that show wear quickly. High quality bowls!
We are VERY pleased with these mixing bowls. We typically use stainless steel or glass bowls for mixing in the kitchen but these are every bit as good as those with an additional nice extra feature of the rubber ring on the bottom. One of the great features of the other bowls is easy clean up, and these share that trait. They're dishwasher safe but we usually hand wash them just because they take up so much room and they are very easy to clean. The rubber ring makes them non-slip, which is nice if you're using a hand mixer and let go of the bowl for a second. With three different sizes there is always one that is well suited for what we're doing, and since they nest very well, they don't have a large footprint in the cupboard.Very nice bowls!

Great bowls but no info on type of plastic they are made of
I generally avoid plastic products when alternatives are available, but these are so cute and I trust the KitchenAid brand. These are really sturdy and the sizes are just right for smaller batches. The reason I marked them down is because it only says that the bowls are plastic, not what type of plastic. This is especially important for those who avoid BPA plastics.

Detail oriented, highly recommend
Happy with these. The lip that allows easy pour is my favorite feature. But I’m also quite happy with the thickness of the product, these are quite hard to bend when trying with heavy force, so during normal use you won’t have any issues with stability or structure of the bowl while pouring, mixing, etc. They nest in each other for easy storage, offer three sizes, clean well in the dishwater with no special instructions, and offer additional support from slips or flipping with the rubber bottoms, no sliding around while mixing, my second favorite feature. I would highly recommend these as they’re a quite go to in my kitchen now.

I own a lot of KitchenAid products: stand mixer, can opener, baking sheets, measuring cups and spoons, and now these mixing bowls. Like everything else from KitchenAid, they exceed expectations.They may be plastic, but they’re nothing like the flimsy, cheap stuff you usually see. These bowls are thick, sturdy, and easily handle heavy cake batter or liquid without bending. The sizes are perfect too and none of them feel “too small,” and the large 4.5-quart bowl can take on the biggest jobs.The design details are what really make these stand out. The handles are comfortable and easy to grip, the pour spout is super handy, and the silicone ring on the bottom keeps the bowl in place even when I’m mixing like crazy with a whisk or hand mixer. It works exactly as advertised.And then there’s the color.
