Great butter dish!

I needed a butter dish for my counter so I could have soft butter without leaving it wrapped in its original wrap, which looked sloppy and was not sealed, so I went looking! Finally decided on this one (and who would have thought there would be so many things to consider - I mean, it's a butter dish!) This one turned out to be perfect! Looks great, washes up easily, seals nicely -yet opens easily. This one holds one normal size stick of butter. Now I have my soft butter!

Excellent quality, but the lid fits *very* snugly.

This is the second one of these I have purchased, both times for an airbnb apartment I rented. I wanted something inexpensive, as I will leave it behind. I like to keep my butter on the countertop so it's soft and easy to spread. This butter dish is very well-made: solid construction, crystal clear plastic top. The two halves fit together perfectly, and are actually air-tight (which is really not necessary). My only complaint is that the lid fits a little too snugly for my needs. It takes two (dry) hands to pull it apart, and requires quite a bit of force, so sometimes the "recoil" from it coming off suddenly makes it contact the butter. But the price is excellent, so I will buy it again next time.
