Love this butter dish. Comes apart easily to wash but not necessary. My husband broke the Butterie taking it apart to wash, I knew he would eventually. This one comes apart easily though. Fits one or two butter sticks. Closure is more airtight than others. Comes with nice butter knife that fits in well when closed. Able to clean knife on dish. Love it.

quality butter dish

Solid butter dish , lid folds back neatly so it doesn't get dirty when you're getting butter out of the dish . Plenty of room for the stick of butter and you don't make a mess when using this dish .I've had several different butter dishes over the years and this is the first one that didn't get butter on the lid and then on the table when you had to take the lid off . Hopefully it'll hold up well - I think it will .

Knowing butter doesn’t have to be refrigerated, this dish is very nice to store it at room temperature. The knife/spreader is good quality & comes in handy. The price is good. They’re a little misleading about its functionality. As you can see in my photo, two 4 oz sticks do not fit lengthwise on the dish.
