I was looking for a two-compartment salt cellar for the dinner table, preferably with a spoon.Not a "salt pig", for cooking - we don't want grubby fingers in our dining salt, and due to cats, we definitely want a lid on it.This is the perfect two-salt cellar.It's good looking. The lid protects it - but isn't airtight, which really, isn't generally expected for a salt cellar. (If you think about it, no salt shakers are ever airtight either. Don't know why people expect that out of a salt cellar.)And the spoon is perfect. Of course you'll want to be reasonably gentle with it, but it doesn't seem all that fragile.Even better - and this is really cool - you see in one of the photos two packages of salt I bought on Amazon. Saltverk Sea Salt and Maldon Smoked Seasalt Flakes. Both packages fit into a compartment. The Maldon just barely, but both fit. Score!This salt cellar now lives in our dining area.
