Massive glass mason jar with gasket style lid for storing bulk items

This large of a storage container may not be everyone’s cup of tea but I’m always looking for something this big of a size for my bulk items - in particular oats, coffee, dried pasta, dried beans, etc. The gasket lid ensures whatever you store will stay fresh. Measurements are provided along the side of the jar for reference. It’s huge! But still fits on a standard pantry shelf. I’ll be grabbing another one!

This is a serious piece of glass. I bought it for a large batch of pickles, and the 2-gallon capacity is legit. It is heavy, thick, and feels like it can take a knock without shattering. Good quality huge "mason jar"

As we live in a more rural area, we have to be careful of bugs and rodents, so I've been switching a lot of my food storage to glass and stainless steel containers with good lids. I chose this jar to hold rice on the floor of my pantry. I was very pleasantly surprised at how heavy duty this is. The glass is thicker than a standard/smaller mason jar. The lids latches down tightly (takes a tiny bit of effort). The mouth is nice and large, making it easy to fill up. The 2 gallon capacity is awesome for things like rice/beans/grains. It has basic measurements on the side which can be helpful as well. All in all I really like this jar. My only reason for docking it a star is the current price ($48) seems really high for, effectively, a jar.

Sturdy, spacious, and well crafted

The glass is thick and sturdy. The seal works great, the measurements are incredibly helpful and it looks great! It is shipped really well, the foam around it fits snug. I have 2. One I use for rice (it fits around 3/4 a bag of Costco rice). The other I use for kombucha. It's got ample space and is really useful for whatever you need! (It is quite large but it's footprint isn't too wide, mostly the height). The only downside would be how heavy it is if you are moving it every day or have trouble lifting.
