Its a pan, works as it should.
This pan gets a lot of use. Cleans up easily. Rack is very helpful. Size is perfect for me.
Perfect size, I especially like that it has sides high enough that gravy can be made without a lot of splashing when I stir. I also love, love, love that both racks were included for the price. I'm deducting a star for two reasons: 1) from the very first use and each use since, the pan has discolored more and more in the area(s) where the meat & juices sit roasting and; 2) the pan itself is not as easy to clean as most cookware available for purchase.
I like this nonstick carbon steel roaster pan very much. I line my pans with foil or parchment paper which may be why I haven't had a problem with the coating peeling off. The V-rack is wonderful for roasting whole or quartered poultry, whole roasts or slabs of ribs. It also works great for roasting winter squashes, whole potatoes and ears of corn. I use the flat rack for things like bacon or hamburger patties. The pan is heavy. It has retained its shape through repeated use.
Did the job. Lined with parchment paper ~ easy clean up.
Will be using this every thanksgiving.
Great roasting pan for smaller turkeys and roasts. The handles are too short on the grill part (insert) which makes it difficult to lift out! I was looking for a much larger pan altogether, but quality seems good so far as durability. I usually buy the Walmart huge roaster (perfect size for two turkey breasts or 20lb whole turkey) with large handles for lifting on the insert, but only lasts a couple of years as the nonstick material peals off. Haven’t noticed that yet with this one, but haven’t used it that long yet. Will be too small at my thanksgiving though, bummed.
