This meat tenderizer is amazing because it's the only one I have found that really tenderizes the meat the way it should be. It is dishwasher safe and it doesn't take long to push it into the meat and literally your meat comes out so tender. I have had mine for a few months and I use it on all kinds of meat. Also it is very sturdy and it works great and it didn't cost that much.

Used for the first time on the toughest of meats; Pork Belly with the Skin on. The punctures were deep and clean. Went right through the thick skin no problem. Removing it was the hard part (thus the 1 Star knock). Had to figure out the safest way to do so. But over all performed really well and feels well built. Cleaning is probably best left to the dishwasher.

Love this meat tenderizer! I needed to replace my old one that I had for years and bought this. I have been using it for a few months now. It is sturdy, ergonomic and really tenderizes the meats, especially steaks or traditionally tougher cuts of meat. I suggest piercing in both directions (horizontally all over and then vertically all over on both sides) then season or marinate. This also allows the seasoning to get deeper, adding extra flavor. It has a nice case that covers the tines when not in use. It's pretty easy to clean by hand, just be careful of tips of the tines if you press down on the outer plastic guide. There really is no need to push down on it when cleaning. Just dump some dishwashing detergent in there and rinse well with hot water.
I am thrilled with how tender my chicken and steak is after using this tenderizer. Please careful the pins are very sharp. Great value.
I t works well but does not come apart to clean. You can put it in the dishwasher. I prefer something that comes apart so I know all the part are clean.
