I love this cleaver. It is light weight which allows it to be used for long periods of times. It is hefty enough to slice through tough meat. The handle itself is scored so easy to hold. Feels good in the hand.
This knife is has a nice feature with its super large knife body. That is great to slice and prepare large and flat materials, such as cabbage, meat slices, or tofu. Its blade is very thin and pretty sharp, while its back it pretty thick, these are very helpful to discharge vegetable and meats slices so they will not stick to the knife. The blade is forged to make it very hard and sharp. That makes it a nice slicer but not a good chopper, since the blade is too crispy. This knife may need to be kept dry, since the blade is not made with stainless steel. You may also need frequent sharpening, since the sharp edge is very narrow. I guess that is because the knife is handmade. It appears not perfect, with a rough surface on both blade and handle. The handle is very light with a few burned lines on the sides. It is non-slip, but not ergonomic. Nevertheless, these imperfections are not going to affect hot function.
