This is amazingly durable! It rotates beautifully and you have great access to everything you want. I love how you can just the height of the shelves to your preference. As to the ease of installation, not sure. My husband looks hot while he did it and he didn’t cuss. Does that count? I also had him install it so that the bottom shelve was high enough to store things under it as well, giving me three levels in the cabinet.

Yes, you can shorten the shaft quite a bit.
Excellent way to upgrade a corner cabinet. Sturdy, elegant and functional. I got mine installed in under two hours yesterday, including shortening the shaft.Our cabinet was almost three inches too short for the shaft, even telescoped down completely. The shaft can be shortened up to maybe five or six inches by cutting the top of the outer shaft off the same amount as the bottom of the inner shaft. I used a hacksaw. Then you just drill a hole near the top of the outer shaft for the set screw.After cutting mine down, I installed the top and bottom mounting plates by measuring 9.5” on center from the back of the cabinet, not the front as contemplated by the included templates. That’s because my cabinet was narrow in the back and the rear sides were the tightest dimension. The 18” trays just barely fit, with maybe one millimeter to spare, but it worked. My wife is thrilled.The instructions were a bit vague on how to fix the height of each tray: they discuss using a metal pin (included) but the kit also had a snap-in plastic pin that would have worked fine, if not quite as strong. I wound up omitting either device for the bottom shelf: it spins just fine resting atop the bottom mounting plate, which has a raised lip and lets the tray sit as low as possible. I used the metal pin to support the upper tray.

This a a very nice product. It looks good and works well. My wife likes that the shelves turn independently. The installation instructions are clear. My installation was difficult, but not because of the product. I had a very small space to work with, it was a very tight fit. I have one suggestion for the manufacturer. The vertical tube is firmly secured to the bottom mounting bracket with a pin. The attachment to the top mounting bracket has no pin, so the top attachment does not appear to be as secure. It looks like a snug fit but a pin would make me more confident.

Don’t use this seller
Let me first say that the sturdiness of this was good, but it was just too large for our cabinet. The cabinet maker we hired disappeared before finishing our project, and my husband and I had to finish it ourselves which was like letting 6 year old fly an airplane, but we had to figure it out as best we could. This is the second lazy Susan I ordered. The first one was too small. This one works have fit but missed going through the cabinet door by a tiny bit. The third one fit fine. T the first one I returned with no problem. But when I started the return in this one, I was informed that the seller was deducting over $20 from my refund because I was returning it. I would highly suggest you don’t use this seller because of this. That is bad business. I purchase from Amazon because of the ease of return if there is a problem—and the one time I have a problem, I lose money. I didn’t even notice that it wasn’t coming from actual Amazon, I was in such a state when I ordered it. So the one star rating is purely because of the money loss because it didn’t fit through my cabinet door, which I couldn’t have known beforehand. If they are going to do this, they should clearly state in the item description that if you have to return it for any reason YOU WILL BE CHARGED a substantial return fee.

This is a heavy built plastic unit with a chromed center pipe. Very nicely built
Just installed the lazy-susan in a cabinet. It went faster than any other one I have installed. The bearing system is ingenious. Simple to disassemble if needed to clean a bad spill. I used a laser to accurately mark both the lower and upper centerlines with a crosshair mark pattern. Whole project took less than an hour. The height has a wide range of adjustment for cabinet height differences by loosening and retightening one screw. A simple pin through the shaft allows shelf height adjustment with predrilled holes. I have installed a lot of these in kitchens and this one BY FAR is the easiest, requires no special tools and comes with all screws and mounting hardware. It is the only kind I'm buying in the future.
