I'm in love with this food processor...
I'm in love with this food processor. I've had several of a different kind over the years, and my last one lasted 9 years and the motor died.... I tried to order the same one again but all they had was a used one and wanted $79 for it used.. so i looked around and found this for $30. best investment i ever made... It comes with 2 bowls, 1 glass , 1 stainless 2 sets of blades and much easier to clean than the others which had large hole for food to get into, these don't. It is 500 watts, i've seen several similar for less wattage. This works great and does the job, and i like the 2 bowls so you can use stainless for meats, and the glass for everything else... So far all i've made with it is tuna burgers/croquettes, but it seems to be very powerful and very easy to keep clean.... My old one was 12 cups, but this is 8 cups and i really don't need more than that. Takes up very little space.... Great buy for the money!!!!

Fantastic product, just keep the top motor clean
I don't typically write reviews, but this is a fantastic piece of engineering. Over the past few years I've tried the Ninja Foodie and a few other processors however they've all fallen short in terms of sheer power. This bad boy can take a boiled pot of boiled vegetables and turn it into a smooth soup in less than 20 seconds, or it can give you a nice blended chunkier style if you want to do pico de gallo or salsa.The only reason I didn't get this five stars is because this food processor has the exact same issue that other top mount processors have...the top motor! Yes it's powerful, yes it does exactly what it's supposed to do and it works very well, but when you place the top processor onto the plastic covering, and you align it with the blade inside, there is still spillage that gets up into the crank recess of the motor, and I'm always afraid of running it underwater because it's an electronic motor.This is not a make or break type issue, but it is something you need to be aware of If you want to ensure that your processor is sanitary and not harboring mold. Take the top off, turn it upside down, look inside that little recess, and make sure you wipe it down.9/10 - solid product, and well worth the money.

I have a Ninja 12 cup food processor and it works great. However for small jobs, sometimes the cleanup is not worth the effort of prepping the food. This is where the Koios comes in. I just used it for the first time to chop a bit over 1 pound of cubed smoked ham...actually hunks and pieces of a ham I smoked for Christmas. These hunks and pieces have been in a freezer until I decided what to do with them. After thawing the ham, it took just a few pulses to render the ham into small pieces suitable for making a ham salad. The motor did not labor and took just seconds to prep the ham. Cleanup was quick and easy. Only time will tell as to longevity, but so far I am very happy with this purchase.

Man, do I love this thing! Super easy to use, super easy to clean. Powerful motor, and no issues with it yet. Love that it comes with two sets of double blades. The metal bowl is a bit thin, I don't use it. The glass bowl is great! It's thick and sturdy. I bought this to grind my coffee beans, because a regular food processor can't handle it. This one pulverizes everything, no problem, especially on the high speed button. Perfect coffee grounds, fine enough for espresso. It was made to pulverize, so don't think you can use this for light work, even though it has two speeds, but that's what I bought it for. Vegetables should be cut into smaller chunks first.

Greatest addition to my kitchen in over a decade
I haven't written an Amazon review in a while, but this thing is honestly so amazing I felt compelled to sit my butt down and yap about it for a bit. I'm 53 years old and I cook at home a LOT. I do a ton of chopping of herbs and veggies. Specifically... tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, parsley, jalapenos, cilantro, etc. I wish I had this thing 20 years ago. It is so different than a typical food processor in such a good way. If you know how to pulse it just right, it does everything almost perfectly for my needs. And it's so compact and easy to clean, it's really amazing. I purposely have not used a food processor in ages simply because it's such a hassle to get the giant base out and deal with all the different parts and clean it afterwards. This is the complete opposite. The motor being small and on top makes a world of difference. And getting two bowls with two sets of blades is a massive plus. I'm able to do all my chopping prep work in a fraction of the time.If you do any rough or fine chopping of vegetables on a regular basis, this is seriously an amazing addition to your food prep arsenal. It's my favorite thing in my kitchen! And the price is incredible for the usefulness you get out of this thing.
