Great scale for so many kitchen uses
This is a great scale! I wanted a rechargeable scale for virtually all my cooking needs (weighing ingredients means not having to wash measuring cups and spoons!), because the scale I was using was tearing through batteries like nobody's business. We both use this scale, for everything we cook, from bread to pasta to desserts to salad dressings. I have another (smaller) scale for when I need real accuracy with tiny spice weights (1-5 grams), but this scale covers every other range with accuracy, and I love that you can weight up to 33 lbs with it. I think my old one had a 12 lb limit that I ran into around the holidays.The charge lasts a lot longer than the batteries in my old one did, and I always have a USB-C charger in the kitchen anyway, for the rare occasions when I need to charge it (I've only charged it once so far, which is fantastic, considering that it gets near-daily use).It's also super easy to clean, since the whole top is glass. The light-touch buttons are under the glass (probably not the right technical explanation), so there aren't any edges or cracks for anything to get caught in. You just wipe the whole top clean easily, which I love.The power, tare, and units buttons are super easy to use, and just the right amount of pressure is required. It's all very self-explanatory. And because it's just thin and flat, I can easily slip it back into my random-utensil drawer when I'm done using it.For clarity (because the description confused me, but the seller provided more details): Please note that the glass top of the scale is waterproof and wipeable, but the power hole and body gaps are NOT waterproof, so the scale should NOT be immersed in water. I'm not the neatest cook, but this hasn't been a problem for me at all. Wiping the top gets it beautifully clean, and if you wanted to wipe it with antibacterial wipes, etc, that would also work great. Just don't dunk it in the sink. While I would like the option to be able to drop it in the water, I don't actually need the option to be able to drop it in the water, lol. This scale does everything I hoped it would.

Plugged it in anyway. It has not been plugged in since and I use it daily. The manual says how long to charge it for full charge but it’s been a couple months. So I don’t remember. I will add that it does have an auto shutoff function but I physically turn it off as soon as I’m done using it. I received it March 5-6 2025 and set it up immediately. So it’s been over 2 months since I charged it. I’m very pleased. You can change the weight measuring units easily. I really like the black glass top. Looks really sharp on my counter and it’s easy to clean or to see if you’ve gotten it cleaned completely. I try not to sit items on top of it that I’m not actually weighing like when it’s powered off between uses. I’ll sit a roll of paper towels on it so others don’t put a glass or anything else on it. It is slim in design and would easily fit in a drawer laid flat on top of dish towels, pot holders or whatever. I’m a little lazy so it sits on my counter 24/7. the cord for charging is in the drawer of my island where I use it. I’m very happy I decided to get one. Initially I said that I was not going to weigh my food but some serving sizes are weight based. This was a great purchase and value for the cost.

Works great! Nice new features, power icon/button now on glass instead of a button on the base and all black instead of white base. Had my old one for years until I carelessly broke it. Easy to use and clean.

Great Scale - Incompatible Charger
Overall this is a great scale. It measures in g, kg, oz, lb:oz, ml. The LED display is backlit for ease of reading. The minimum weight is 1 gram or 0.1 ounce, which I love. Has a Tare function and is simple to use. Has one On & Off button and is rechargeable. It is waterproof as well! The maximum weight to weigh is 33 pounds.The Cons are: Wish it could read in pounds with a digital fraction and ounces with a digital fraction. With a big object to weigh, the display will be covered. Also the charger is not compatible with a USB A, B or C cable - it has its own trapezoidal charger so hang on to it - do not lose it.
