Lots of uses

Wanted this to prevent our dog's food dish from moving around when she ate. Works great for that. Have also used as a trivet, spoon rest, and pot holders. We keep one near our air fryer so we can set the hot pans on it when they come out. Also, have one setting near the stove flipped so the smooth side is up to use as a spoon rest so it doesn't make a mess on the counters.Easy to clean and use. Don't slide around. Grip to the counter well. When I use them as a pot holder, I do tend to fold them in half just as a precaution(but I do that with most pot holders).

Gone back and ordered 8 times ...

Now that I'm using my cast iron pots more, the standard potholders w/silicone ribbing are just too thick to grip my pots with confidence (cast iron is heavy). So I ordered this set of silicone holders. So satisfied! I cautiously used them to pull dishes out of the oven; they do work well. I'm still testing this function. I don't hold the oven dishes too long.Numerous uses: Place under a cup or bowl in microwave, then just scoop the silicone sleeve up around your "dish" to protect fingers from unexpected heat (sure, it was in the microwave, but how often are you warming and find the dish get stoo hotter than anticipated?). Same with cold. Eating a dish of ice cream, holding a cold glass? Wrap it around like a sleeve.Other uses: 1) a spoon rest while cooking; 2) a jar opener; 3) a small placemat; 4) a shock-absorbing, noise-reducing, non-slip mat for your coffee grinder or water flosser.
