Prepare to spread

The spreader is one of the most useful and overlooked kitchen tools. I have been looking for a good spreader for decades. The lamson spreader is built with great quality, has just the right amount of flexibility, and its size and shape make it a very great all purpose cream, butter, and jam spreader. Having grown up using the Cutco spreader, I found it painstaking to use lesser models. Compared to the oxo spreader ,which I have been using for the last 5 years, this one works very well. Great for peanut butter even when its refrigerated. I'm liking it more than the wusthof sandwich knife I have, that knife is a little too rigid but it is a great knife for its intended use.

Not Your Ordinary Spreader

The LamsonSharp spreader is far sturdier than most spreaders; after years of making do with less expensive flimsy spreaders, I am so glad I bit the proverbial bullet and got this spreader. Absolutely perfect for stirring Smuckers jars of Natural Peanut Butter! Beware: the serrated edge is quite sharp! I cannot imagine regretting getting this spreader.

Feels like it will last a lifetime

Came across the Lamson brand a few years ago, when I bought an offset spatula. The hardwood handle is very comfortable; well-balanced feel; high quality blade that's riveted to the handle. Whenever there is a Lamson alternative to the common plastic stuff, for a few dollars more I go for the Lamson. Great American craftsmanship from Massachusetts. My Lamson kitchen tools will probably outlive me.
