The quality is next level. once I used it on my cast iron skillet making hash browns. I ordered two more to replace all of my old spatulas. I wish I did this years ago because these are such a pleasure to use.
I've been needing a replacement for a flat spatula that I've had for over 30 years and this one is perfect! Yes, it's expensive, but the quality and durability are obvious. This is one of the only ones I was able to find that was completely flat on the bottom - almost everything else had the curved slotted bottom, and that wasn't what I wanted. As you can see in the photo, my old one on the right was beginning to crack at one of the rivets toward the base where it connects to the handle. My new Lamson turner base is one piece and is much thicker and more sturdy. Especially if you are looking for durability as well as function, you can't go wrong with this item.
We cook in cast iron and get so fed up with plastic turners. It's difficult to find good metal ones in stores and the ones we have are antiques now. I looked online and found the LamsonSharp on Amazon. We are very pleased with it. Great construction of sturdy metal and wood. This will be something we can pass on to our children. Love it!

Yes, it does seem silly to rave about a spatula. However, this thing is truly awesome. The quality is such that I had to throw out all my other spatulas, I could not stand to use them any more.This has the feel of an expensive tool, which I guess it is. Anyway, WELL WORTH THE MONEY. I will be obtaining more LamsonSharp items in the near future and upgrading my kitchen drawer.
Very nice turner. You know how some utensils just work, while others don't. This is a home run. Every time I need a turner, I reach for this one.
All the spatulas in the grocery store were plastic. I wanted to make a blacked roux. This is perfect. It's wide, straight front edge, it drains, it picks up large delicate things like fish fillets. I certainly expect to to be around indefinitely.
