Looks good, but lid is hard to remove.

This box looks very nice, however, when it arrived it had a chemical smell. I put some bread in it wrapped in plastic wrap. The next day I removed the bread and discovered the paint had been tacky and there is a permanent plastic wrap "design" in the bottom. Additionally, the lid is a little difficult to remove. It fits tightly, and there is no handle on the lid so you have to lift one edge while holding the box to remove the lid. It's a two hand operation.

Lovely breadbox for more than just bread
