Took a 5 day camping trip to the great sand dunes with this. It’s incredible and we literally cooked every single meal on it. Best outdoor cooking surface I could ask for, both using a gas grill, and over an open fire. Only complaint would be to use your own, cloth gloves/hot grips. The included rubber ones are flimsy and will melt instantly. First world problems of course…
Very solid and heavy. I have a GE Profile range and it JUST fits but I have to make sure it's even front to back or there's a gap between the induction heating element and the griddle. No whining or noise when this is on. One does need to heat it up slowly or I found the middle warping up a little bit. Love the press that comes with it. It too is solid and heavy. However, you do need to be sure you grab the wooden part of the handle or you can burn yourself on it. The silicon oven mitts are really oven finger covers, very short and small. I tried them out and although you can make it work, given the weight of the griddle, these are not the right choice to lift a hot griddle. They'll be going to GoodWill.
The griddle seems fine so far, but the silicone mitts are garbage, don’t use them, they melt, very dangerous.
This is great for pancakes and masa corn tortillas. I use it on an electric coil burner stove with great results.
So far I am loving this griddle. The food does not stick and it dries quick. It us about half the price of the Made In griddle.
It’s really not nonstick in anyway it has hotspots and I’ve used it about six times and it looks like it’s about five years old already
So far it does exactly what I was looking for very none stick
