This is a nice bowl and works perfectly for mixing and working sour dough. It is a good size for making 1-2 loaves. It isn’t too heavy for lifting. It does slip on my granite countertops so I put a small piece of washable, non-slip material under the bowl, and that worked well.
It’s become my favorite bowl for Sourdough bulk fermentation. Large enough to accommodate a single loaf recipe with room to spare. Feels durable and I like the tinted glass look. Yet I can still see if the dough has formed bubbles. Fits in my foldable proofing draw. Might buy another one.
ordering online can be tricky as far as quality sometimes but this bowl is amazing!! I highly recommend it for sourdough makers!

Very nice glass dough bowl with lid.
I use it for my sourdough and I love it! It is the perfect size for a single or double loaf batch, and it is very sturdy and I don’t feel like it will break! I’ve recommended it to a couple other sourdough bakers as well!
