Bought a second bowl for bread making for a new second home. Liked my old Pyrex bowl, but this one is better. Heavy lip with a more solid feel overall...and the SHAPE is much more user friendly...easier to clean than the Pyrex with its more conical shaped sides, and the flatter base means the bowl will work better for other food uses such as layered casseroles or salads. Very happy I took a chance and got this instead of trying to just duplicate my previous purchase.

NOT 6.3 QUARTS! The capacity when filled to the absolute brim is exactly 4.7 liters, or 5.0 quarts, which I measured. And you can get 5-quart bowls for cheaper. The description is inaccurate. Otherwise a good solid bowl.
