I use these to freeze homemade baby food and they are a perfect size! I've used them about a dozen or more times and they are durable and super easy to get the frozen blocks out of. I've stacked them and they still hold their shape. Overall, just what I needed.
I've sort of become a bourbon drinker the last few years and I do sometimes like a bit of ice in my drink....sorry bourbon/whiskey snobs. I do try all new bourbons neat, but many I do like with an ice cube. Our refrigerator puts out some really small cubes which melt too quickly and I much prefer a big a__ ice cube.This tray works very well although I might give it 4.5 stars if possible because my daughter got me a better one. This one is made from pretty thin silicone and that allows for the cubes to come out easily, but it's also easy for this to get deformed in the freezer if you can't place it in there alone. The one my daughter got me has much thicker silicone walls and you can put a bag of frozen food on it without it collapsing before frozen. The only drawback to that one is it is harder to get the cubes out.
Really enjoying using these big ice cubes. Don’t have whiskey straight with ice very much, but these are so much better than smaller ice cubes, they don’t dilute your liquor nearly as much. The tray itself is well made. I think I read some reviews complaining about it being hard to get the cubes out,, yes if your hand strength isn’t the best, but just run water over the outside and they will come out.
These Ice Cubes are a Must Have if you enjoy a good bourbon like I do. I've tried a couple other Ice Cube Molds in the past and have found them frustrating because either it's too difficult to get the ice ball/cube out or they get all frosted because they required a top.These HANCELANT Square Cube Molds have no problems. The cubes are easy to get out of the mold. I don't use the lids as they are not necessary. And, they fit nicely with my other ice cube trays. Yes, I use Ice Cube Trays because I don't like the water where I live so I only use my filtered water. And, because I enjoy an occasional bourbon, I wouldn't want city water any where near it. I only use one tray at a time, which is 6 cubes. But it's nice having 2 trays in case I have a get-together. I'd buy this brand again.
Works great. Love has wire support makes a huge difference. Easy to fill and if one is to full just tap on bottom and just that one spills out. Ice cube is great size and last
Love these for freezing portions of soup, sauces and more. Easy to clean too.
I have other silicone ice cube trays but they're difficult to remove ice cubes and if you don't push them out a certain way, they will fly out to some dark confines of your kitchen sink. This one is perfect and I don't struggle at all.
