Good product. Needs improvement for easier and safer assembly/disassembly

The product comes in several iterations grouped into two, based on whether you choose a marble base or a wooden one. If you choose a wooden base, you get to choose a basic version, a rotatable version or a height-adjustable version. Why not a rotatable & adjustable version? The bummer is that if you choose a marble base, you get one that is fixed (neither rotatable nor adjustable). How is that for the most expensive version.My main complaint, however, is about the radial rods at the top where you hang your noodles to dry, the ones that look like spokes on a wheel. The problem with them is the locking mechanism, or the lack thereof. To insert each spoke in its hole, you need to use physical force, hence the possibility of injury. The hole is cored out to fit the exact diameter of the rod so that the rod is held in the hole by the force of friction. Not the best locking mechanism, to my engineering mind. When you are finished using it and you want to remove the rods to wash them and store them, you need to use physical force once again. Do you have a teenage wrestler at home to help you with this task? This company needs to fire the summer students who designed this contraption and hire a real engineer to design a true locking mechanism that is user-friendlier and safer to use. Friction can be a suitable locking approach for permanently attached parts, not for things you assemble and disassemble every time you use the product.Other than that, the product is fine. It is the only pasta drying rack I have found in which both the pole and the radial rods are stainless steel. The other "stainless steel" products actually use plastic rods, which defeats the whole purpose of choosing a stainless steel rack. I also like the marble base. I wish it came in different colors (I like green marble), and I wish it was rotatable. Since there is no 3 1/2 stars, I am giving it 4 stars.
