I decided to just to purchase my own lettuce and needed this item. I have not regretted it for one minute! Super easy to use, large bowl and basket to spin, your lettuce, spinach etc to remove excess water, just pour it out while leaving to top on. Easy locking mechanism too.You can store it in your refrigerator until you’re ready to complete your salad. It’s light weight, stable and easy to hold while you’re spinning! I’ve can now keep my lettuce for 5 days at least after spinning, and it’s not wilted and still nice green and crisp. Great value for the money, very durable and so easy to clean! You will not be disappointed.

    I used the salad spinner for the first time today. And it worked fine. The lid fit securely and fastens down to keep the spinning lid on tightly. It is plenty big for our needs and probably will clean plenty of lettuce for a 4 person dinner salad all at once. I recommend it to anyone looking for a simple salad spinner.
