So Many Uses Besides Donuts.
Lately I have come across myriad of recipes that require a donut pan which are not donuts LoL. I have resisted them up to this point, but I finally found a "keto friendly" appetizer recipe that I had to try and thus the need to order this type of pan. Once the decision was made to order a quick check of Amazon determined that this Funlavie 9 Cavity Non-Stick Food Grade Silicone Donut pan was the best choice for my needs. First a silicone pan for anything other than a flat air baking sheet is no brainer for me. I like a pan that is literally "stick free" (without prepping) and silicone pans are just that. I have never had anything I was baking stick to a silicone pan. Next this one had just the right baking capacity for my needs (9). Any smaller increases the number of batches and any larger and it becomes harder to store. Of course, the weight of silicone pans is lot lighter than metal pans so they are easier to handle. Next, I have read where people say that silicone pans have a different heat distribution, I have not found that to be the case. In fact, just the opposite I think the using silicone pans is better and has improved my baking abilities. Finally, also contrary to what I have read I found that using silicone pans DOES NOT affect the taste of the item I am cooking.

Have used this once so far...never made donuts in the past...am after a recipe that I can endure. The silicone donut pan worked fine. I sprayed down with Pam oil and filled the mold just shy of the top. Baked for about 30 minutes. The donuts turned out fine...a little bland; but, I will be working on that for my next batch. Only issue I had is it does not fit the cooking sheet so will have to find one a bit bigger. You might consider the 6 hole model for just how many donuts you need at a time.

Easy clean
Bought this specifically for cheesy onion rings. Works great, easy clean (can be put in the dishwasher), good price. I recommend placing it on a flat vented surface like a cooling rack to make it easier on getting it in/out of the oven.
