This mat is everything I was looking for!
If you’re like me and try to protect your counters in every way imaginable, this is the perfect dish drying mat you can buy.Why?1. By Far The Biggest Pro is: it is one large single piece of stone! I struggled to find something like this, as I came across many roll-up ones with gaps in between. I do not recommend those at all, see video for details.This prevents less room for water accumulation and dirt build up. It also provides better coverage and looks cleaner overall.2. It’s beautiful! This is the perfect shade of white, slightly cream/ivory toned, and bright. I also love the pattern engraved in it.3. Hygiene! Fabric and silicone mats can attract Mold. This large stone mat made of diatomaceous earth material has natural antibacterial properties, and is a good defense against mold. However, be sure to clean and dry it regularly and not leave it damp.In my video I showed the silicone feet it comes with. I added those which lifted it off the counter very slightly, maybe about 1/16th of an inch. This lets it dry and properly ventilate.4. Slip resistant: at first I placed it without the feet, and it was already not budging because of its weight and the weight of the rack above it. But once I added the silicone feet, I had to work much harder to position it. It’s much more slip resistant when the feet are on it.You can put dishes on it as is, or you can put your dish rack on top of it for extra protection.I’ve only had it for a few hours, so I’ll update this review with how it’s held up durability wise! But the quality of it seems very legitimate.I hope this review helps with your decision!
