I absolutely love this stone drying mat. I can place my dishes on it without worrying about water spilling everywhere, and it dries super fast. It absorbs the water really well and keeps my counter clean and dry. It’s very convenient and looks nice too. I highly recommend it.
This stone drying mat absorbs water quickly and helps keep the counter area dry and tidy. It dries fast between uses and doesn’t trap moisture like fabric mats can. The size is generous and fits dishes, glasses, and utensils easily. It also has a clean, modern look that blends well into the kitchen. A practical and stylish upgrade from traditional drying mats. My only complaint is that water can get trapped underneath of it and requires some drying underneath to ensure it doesn't ruin your counters, so use with caution (or it may not affect you, my counters are cramped so I have very little room to give this thing)
results in water everywhere and creating more of a mess.This stone drying mat is wonderful. It absorbs the water, and I think the dishes air dry faster (could be my imagination.) I have also used it as a base for catching water when doing other things like cutting wet collards. The stone drying mat does not move so I place my cutting board on top of it. The mat collects the runoff that usually leaves puddles on the countertop.The design is whimsical and matches the décor. I haven’t used the smaller mat yet as the large one covers my entire counter. It is easy to clean up and while it does not fold flat, it does roll up. Daily use has not scraped or faded the design.
Great concept - but not sure the material used is ideal for the function for which it is intended. I purchased the solid white and due to the absorbent nature of the stone, it has absorbed every dirty stain possible. It sits next to the sink and is a place for clean dishes to dry - so I'm not sure why so many food stains - but it looks TERRIBLE. I've tried cleaning, scrubbing and sanding with the sanding tool provided, as well as regular sand paper - but nothing gets it clean. It is so embarrassing, I will not leave it out if I have company. I would gladly return for a refund.
We picked this up thinking it would look good in our country kitchen and we were right!The colors fun without being overly obnoxious and the print is nicely done.We use it to the left of our sink as a drying mat, and it's the perfect size to sit next to a sink.Clean up is simple. We just roll the it up, drop it in the sink, and rinse it off with hot water and dish soap. Foldability for storage is excellent since you can just roll it up and put it away. We've had no issues with mold or anything like that.We make iced tea all the time and it seems to have a few tea stains now, but that's no big deal to us.
I've been wanting one of these stone drying mats for my counter for a while because I don't like having something that either allows water to stand or gets wet and holds onto it and then has to be laundered. I'm quite pleased with this mat. Nicely sized and I love the cheery fruit pattern. The colors are nice and bright and it easily folds up into a decently compact roll for storage under the sink when not in use. I did have to weight it down for a bit when I first got it because the ends didn't want to lay completely flat. I appreciate that it's multifunctional and can be used as a drying mat, a trivet, or other countertop protection (I wouldn't try to use it for a cutting board, though). It also comes with a little separate piece that makes a great spoon rest! Very absorbent and dries quick. It's obviously made from a durable stone-like material but I do feel it will probably crack or break if dropped on the floor. This thing is heavy and you will quickly regret dropping it, especially if you're not wearing shoes and it lands on your foot!
I have never used a stone drying mat before, but I am very pleased overall with this mat!! I place most of my dishes in my dishwasher but there are always more dishes to hand wash. My drying rack always seemed in the way and crowding the small counter area next to my sink. I replaced it with this stone mat and had a Wow moment. The mat fits perfectly on the small area and looks so much nicer. I washed some dishes and placed them on the mat and the mat absorbed the water quickly. There is a small separate piece that I laid my spatula in and that worked nicely. The function of this stone mat far exceeds my plastic drying rack. The stone appears very durable and comes with a non slip piece to place under it. I love that it is designed to roll up and be placed in a drawer or cabinet if not being used. It rolls up easily. The set also comes with a fine piece of sand paper to clean up any “dirt” on it because it cannot be cleaned with chemicals. I really do not foresee having to sand it but I did sand o e tiny area lightly and noticed that if you sand it heavily the color comes off the design. That is why I gave it 4 stars. A solid color would not have the issue if sanding away colorful areas. O tall this is a great piece and I will use it everyday. The price is good too as plastic drying racks are also not cheap. I now prefer this over my plastic rack.I recommend this stone mat.
