Snazzy, lightweight and versatile!
My husband's favorite food at parties is the "meats and cheeses" board. That's his idea of a charcuterie board. "A what?" he would say!For quite a while we have needed a large cutting board with a little valley around the edge for the juices. I only ever seemed to think of buying one when I'm standing in front of a large cut of meat that I have just painstakingly cooked, only to struggle to use the largest cutting board that I can find, with tons of paper or kitchen towels underneath it to prevent the inevitable mess I'm about to make.I really like that this board has two distinct designs on either side. The first has the valley around the outside for the meat juices, and the second is the charcuterie board design, with a large trough on one long side, to stash crackers, bread, fruit or things that need to be kept from rolling off the board. Its versatility also is a huge space saver!To be honest, I'm quite boring and I would have ordered the plain design if I could have. That said, the checkerboard design is fun and snazzy and definitely an eye catcher for displaying your carved beef, ham or charcuterie treats at your next shindig.This impressively thick 1.5” acacia wood board is sturdy yet surprisingly lightweight, and as someone with arthritic elbows that are painful when I lift heavy items in a hurry in the kitchen, I appreciate this. It also features a finely honed edge, which caused me to do a double take, wondering if it was really wood. Yes it is. And of course because of the checkered design, you are able to see the technical quality the manufacturer put into creating a lot of very neat joins to get that finish all the way through.I can’t wait to get the party started with this new cutting/charcuterie board!

Great universal gift, but I’m keeping it
I was not expecting this. This cutting board is beautiful. No longer do we need to put it away. Now it stays on the counter as a showpiece. Very well built, convenient size, not too big, not too small. I love the wood edge - great to retain knife edges.Cleans up like any other board. Get some butcher block oil for longevity if you want.

Full disclosure- I got this board for shooting product and themed photos.However, this cutting board is a powerhouse! Heavy, solid, and looks amazing!Overall it has been working great for me. Great cutting board for large pieces of meat or charcuterie
I've been making the switch from plastic cutting boards to wooden ones. This board caught my eye due to the pattern, size, and design. For the appearance, I love the pattern and there were only one or two small imperfections (which gives this cutting board even more charm and makes it unique in my opinion). The quality of the wood itself is good, it is very solid, nicely finished, and has good weight to it. I imagine it will be very durable (it's served me well in the few weeks I've had it so far). The design of the board is eye-catching from a decorative standpoint, but I also really enjoy the "gutter" of this board. I cut a large piece of tenderloin on it, and the juices from the meat collected nicely in the depression in the board and was able to be used later. It cleans well - I'd recommend a light seasoning with olive oil after every cleaning to prevent any wear.Overall, it's a very functional and well-designed cutting board that can be used for everything.

Beautiful Checkerboard with Substantial Quality, though Flawed Woodgrain
This cutting/charcuterie board is heavy weight, substantial quality, and looks beautiful. The divots on the side serve as easy-to-use handles, so this is a very functional board. It's easy to clean with a wipe of a cloth, and I'm sure a little oil occasionally would keep it looking fresh and shiny.4 stars instead of 5 as the price is high for what you are getting. The actual thickness and build seems to be good quality, but there are some flaws in the wood that make this an imperfect checkerboard and pattern. The price tag is too high for the wood or the staining to be imperfect. It's still a nice piece, but mine could have been a little more uniform in woodgrain and quality.
