Really Nice, Really Heavy-Duty Salad Spinner with Multiple Uses
I’ve used plastic spinners in the past, but this Le'raze glass version is really nice. The borosilicate glass bowl is incredibly heavy-duty, to be honest, it’s probably way heavier than a salad spinner strictly needs to be, but the quality is undeniable. Because it’s so nice looking, I’ve actually been using it as a serving bowl for the table once the salad is prepped, which is a total win for anyone trying to cut down on extra dishes. On the topic of the bowl, it is a straight walled bowl, which is excellent for baking! I can mix my sourdough in there, do all my stretch and folds, and observe the rise much more easily than I could in a more traditionally shaped mixing bowl.The pump mechanism is smooth and easy to use, and having an airtight lid means I can just pop the leftovers into the fridge without dirtying any other dishes. While the weight might be a bit much for some, I personally love that it doesn't slide all over the counter while I'm spinning. It’s a rather large bowl, so it’s a great option if you need to make a big salad for a dinner party. It works really well, it’s a beautiful, high-quality tool that definitely earns its keep by doing multiple jobs in my kitchen!

This is a fantastic salad spinner is probably the best designed one I've seen.Build:Very solid, thick glass, insert, spinning mechanism, etc. all looks and feels well made and in a high quality which is built to last. A clear 10/10Functionality:This spinner comes with the actual glass bowl, a plastic bottom insert, the plastic sieve, the top with spinning mechanism, and a soft plastic lid. The spinning mechanism is quiet and has a practical braking button. The cover especially is convenient as it allows to seal the bowl airtight. Great for salad, fruit-salad, etc. 10/10Size:We use this for a family of 5. We usually chop one salad head, add seeds, fruit and dressing. We barely fill 1/5 of the bowl! Thick Glass Salad Spinner with Design Flaws
This glass salad spinner is pretty nice, but it has a few drawbacks. The glass bowl is very thick, which makes it sturdy but also quite heavy. Because of the weight, I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone who prefers lightweight kitchen tools. That said, the bowl is well made and holds 6.22 quarts, so it’s versatile enough to use for other kitchen tasks too.The lid and spinner mechanism are plastic (I’m not sure why some reviews say it’s glass). The spinner works easily — one push and it spins smoothly. The top button also locks down, which makes storing the lid and bowl more convenient.One downside is that the spinner mechanism in the lid does not come apart for cleaning. The inner basket is plastic as well, and I can see it potentially staining over time, but for now it works as intended. Another disappointment is that the plastic storage lid does not fit on the glass bowl, which limits its usefulness if you were hoping to use the bowl for storage.Overall, it works, but the design flaws are frustrating. 3/5 stars.

This salad spinner is a good quality item. The bowl is glass and has weight to it because it is glass. The basket on the inside sits on a plastic piece that raises it up and allows it to spin while in use. The lid has a locking mechanism that will hold the piece that makes it spin down when not in use or let it pop up when ready to use. This spinner also comes with a lid that you can cover the bowl with if you are not using the food right away. The only draw back is the lid that came with my bowl is a little too small to actually be secure on the bowl, instead it just rests on it. I really just needed the spinner part which works great so that is not an issue for me. The basket that you put the vegetables in is large to hold a hold head of lettuce or bag of vegetables at one time. When you push the spinner knob down to do it's job this spinner moves easily and quickly. I do like this salad spinner.
