Perfect size for hot tea. Nice clean and sleek look. Kept my tea hot for 8 hours. The infuser insert is lightweight and easy to pull out of the cup and screw on/off. I love that it has the section for loose leaf, or you can just steep your bag tea right on top. I use this for both type of teas and it works great.This number is also lightweight. So it's easy to toss into my lunch bag or backpack. Doesn't leak.

Best product ever. I made tea late night, let it decoct and after couldnt finish most. Instead of it turning cold and me wasting it bc i dont like cold tea it stayed warm for 10 hours! Thats perfect because im always on the go. I also love i can steep my herbs with the lid on because doing so without lets out essentials. Double plus for the bamboo on the outside!🩷
EDITED: VERY IMPRESSIVE customer service! After I wrote the review (and returned the mug- without a box) the company sent me another mug to try. This mug was most definitely better. It had no "paint thinner" odor and it kept my tea warm for a decent amount of time. I couldn't feel the heat through the mug with the replacement, so it definitely retained the heat much better. The only thing with this mug, which was not an issue with the previous one, is the wood veneer rotates in my hand when I hold it as I turn the lid to unscrew it, so it can be a little difficult to unscrew the lid. Overall, they've obviously made improvements to the product and I respect their efforts to send me a new one and make amends, so I edited my review.ORIGINAL: I wish I could return this, but my husband threw out the box. First of all, I have never written a negative review before, but I intensely dislike this travel mug and I very much miss my Teavana travel mug right now. My Teavana mug kept my tea hot all day- this doesn't even keep my tea warm for a few hours. Also, it took me DAYS to get rid of the horrid smell inside the mug. It smelled like paint thinner. Soap and hot water did not do the job. It took days of vinegar and boiling water soaking inside to finally get the smell out. Two positives are that it is beautiful to look at and the design of the tea strainer is great- I really like the screw on top the strainer has. Unfortunately, I wasted my money though because it doesn't even keep my tea warm, let alone hot.
So far so good. I tried to rip mine apart when it arrived as i see others are having issues and if Im going to return i want to do it asap. To no avail. The cup stayed in tact. I see no issues. Im keeping it. Its pretty. Design works. I see no spills. Fingers crossed it doesn't come apart in a week once i start cleaning and using it tho! In the picture its tucked to the far right of my sheld. Also amazon.
So I read the reviews before buying and noticed many are kind of old so I thought I would address some of these and see if they were corrected by the company.1. There were complaints of a strong chemical smell but the issue seems to have been resolved. I smelled it before washing and nothing, no smell.2. There were complaints about plastic being exposed on the inside to hot tea. I see no plastic that would come in direct contact with hot beverages. There is some plastic visible but it doesn’t touch the tea I included a photo.3. Some reviews experienced leaking, I did not. To brew this tea I turn it upside down and leave, so I can attest they’ve fixed that as well.4. That it arrived broken or the lid fell apart. Mine did not arrive broken and did include a lifetime warranty. The kid has not broken but if it does I will update this review.I bought this and absolutely love it. It keeps tea fresh and hot for hours. I use this at home because my son would accidentally spill it, I also enjoy hot tea on the go. I have tried using tea bags, loose leaf and tea baths with strings. They all work well my favorite is high quality loose leaf which is a sustainable choice. This container keeps tea piping hot for hours, so that benefit doesn’t work against me I put in enough tea to brew 16 ounces but only about 1/3 to 1/2 of the water then brew it upside down open it, add cool water to make it drinkable.
