Amazing Tea Cup!
I searched and searched through Amazon for the best spill-proof cup for my 9 year old son. He loves to drink turmeric ginger tea. He independently pours water into it, warms it up in the microwave, adds his honey, along with his favorite tea bag, and off he goes. If my 9 year old can do all this all on his own, including washing it, then I feel like this would be perfect for anyone. The seal has worked great with no spills as he sips his tea during his virtual live classes. The Mason jar caps we had purchased became too hard for him to open, and the tops leaked where the straw was inserted. The design is not only a great fit for smaller hands, but also for adult-sized hands as it as a silicone sleeve. Everything is easy for my son to take apart and wash on his own, as we do not use our dishwasher. I am sure if it holds up with how my son washes dishes, it would hold up even better in the dishwasher. It holds heat just as good as the Mason jars. My son loves the design even more because it comes with a handle that he uses every time, plus he loves the color green. I highly recommend this for loose teas, instant coffee, or bagged tea.

So convenient & practical but NO HEAT RETENTION!
I loved everything about this mug. The design, color, lockable lid, fit, size, and heat resistant grip to prevent your hands from burning. HOWEVER. It does not keep the tea temperature hot! That was my main goal with this purchase. I was extremely disappointed when after an hour it was luke warm and then 30 minutes later cold. They should not advertise that it's for hot liquids because it's not.

Highly recommend! I wasn’t even looking for one but came across it and I’m so glad I did. It’s leak-proof, made of glass, and works great. I usually use warm water instead of very hot, and it holds up perfectly. I’ve tried it with both loose leaf tea (some very tiny particles can come through, which is normal) and tea bags, and it works really well with both. My daughter loves it.
Truly spill proof, which is very important when carrying hot liquid. My daughter loves it. She throws it in her bag on her way to work. Then has warm tea to drink during breaks. Could use a wider heat protection sleeve but it still works. It has a handle also.
