Update:I’ve seen other reviews. Guys, even nonstick pans still sticks…just saying.I have been looking for a safe and nontoxic pot set for awhile and I am so happy I found this set! A perfect set and the handles do not get hot from stovetop usage. If I do noticed a slight discoloration, I use Bar Keeper’s Friend Soft Cleaner. Works like magic! Highly recommend these pot sets.
So I have a confession to make…this was supposed to be my Christmas Gift. I wasn’t supposed to open and/or use it until after Christmas but I was sooooo excited to get this cookware set that I just couldn’t wait! This is my first ever complete “fancy” cookware set! Of course, I do have a couple of pieces of a popular French brand of ceramic cookware that I love, but I have always wanted an all stainless steel multi-ply set to add to my kitchen. Not just for display either or to show off, I wanted something nice and of good quality to actually cook with too!Now, I wouldn’t consider myself a 5 star chef by any means, but I do consider myself an above average home cook if I were to rate myself. One of the things I love to do for friends and family is cook them up a good meal. I do get pleasure in seeing them ask for seconds or asking for my recipes. I feel that food is meant to be enjoyed and shared with others.Another confession…In the beginning of my cooking journey, I was never the type of person that thought cookware made a difference. I mean, food still tasted good when I used the cheapest quality cookware. But as the years went by I did start to notice a difference with the more expensive types of cookware. It’s a much more pleasurable experience too when cooking with something that’s of good quality. I had been using a popular granite stone type cookware for the last few years but after hearing all the bad things about this type of cookware, I finally decided to go for a full stainless set. Yes, I heard cooking with this type of cookware is different but having used it before, I knew what to expect. At least I knew that with this cookware, there would be no toxins seeping into my food, no worries about peeling layers of ceramic or enamel…just something sturdy and reliable that will cook my food well.When my hubby said “go ahead, pick the set you want”, I spent hours doing my research and comparing all the similar sets on Amazon. I could have chosen a more expensive, well known, popular brand but the thought of having to fork over a couple thousand bucks for fancy cookware was ridiculous! I like good quality stuff, but trust me when I say you can find good quality for a fraction of the price if you know which companies to go with. Anyways, I found that Legend Cookware offered the most “bang for your buck” and so I made my final decision and completed my purchase. I am so glad I did! I now have a good chunk of cash I saved to put towards my next vacation. Costa Rica, here I come!After having used the set for a little over a week now, I can definitely say that this company and their cookware is really great!…Great customer service, great quality cookware for a great price and to top it off, I really do think it makes my food not just good but “great”! It heats up quickly and evenly. It’s heavy and sturdy. I would definitely recommend this set to the average home cook or even the fancy new chefs just starting out. You get excellent quality with this set that I am sure will last you a long time. Take the leap, get Legend!
I've been using this set for around 3 months, and I'm impressed with the quality, I'm very happy with them! One lid arrived with a small dent from shipping and their customer service was great to deal with, problem resolved easily. Highly recommend.
I'll start off with this: These ARE chef quality. Period.My husband has been a cook for over 30 years and I decided to invest in these this past holiday season....best investment and these are absolutely build-for lifetime use. They heat evenly, they're 5x, so they are heavy but not so much you can't work with them. Any discoloration that occurs with the natural process of their use can easily be removed with the "Weiman" line of stainless steel cleaning products (they're food safe and state that, as well).

It is great to cook using these pots and pans. They heat up fairly quickly on my flat electric cook top, and distribute the heat evenly. There is some slight discoloring of the pots and pans, I think it’s from the heat, yet no impact on cooking experience.
Absolutely love these pans. They heat evenly and extremely quick on induction. The heat retention alone would make them worth the purchase.
