I'm always in need of kitchen towels and these may be some of my favorites! The color is accurate based on the picture (I got the indigo blue) and they have a lovely soft texture that will absorb spills or clean up dirty hands. I'm very happy with the quality and durability so far! I've washed them several times and have had no issues with shrinkage.I think I may end up purchasing more!
This is my review for Heirloom Comfort Kitchen Towels.This is a lovely fabric but I can't help thinking that these would be nicer as a tablecloth! As a kitchen towel they are too pretty. Anyway they work ok as a kitchen towel. They seem thin but they dry and soak up water well enough.I'm a seamtress and I tend to always give seams and hems a real close look. The work on thse towels is not all that great. For a towel that will be doing alot of hard work and gettting washed often the stitching should be smaller than what is used here to strengthen these seams. I found the stitching on the corners were pretty sloppy with a super large,loose stitch wrapped around the corner. Not that it matters as much as the strength of the seams ,but the length and width of the towel itself were not all the same amongst the towels. The lengths and widths were all mismatched. THe directions said to wash in cold water. I went ahead and washed in warm as I do all my other kitchen towels and actually these towels came out pretty well. I dried them in the dryer normally and even though they sat in the dryer for a couple hours before I had a chance to retreive them, they came out nice and smooth. There was not a wrinkle. They shrunk a little but not enough to make a drastic difference.I would order them again more for their beauty than their functionality although that was nothing special. The cost for these 5 towels is a bit on the high side at this writing, however. I would pass for now.
These towels are not for people who are looking for a thicker kitchen towel. These towels are a bit on the thin side, which suits some people's needs/tasks better.I purchased the 5 pack, which is a much better price compared to the 3 pack, but the 12 pack is definitely the best deal.Despite how thin they are, they appear quite durable, and they are very absorbent, which is perfect for quickly cleaning up spills. I like that they have a strap on the back, so I can hang them on a hook when not in use.They are 100% cotton, so as to avoid potential shrinkage, I washed them on cold and tumble dried on low. They held up well and did not shrink, and they seem to have held their color.Overall, I am happy with these towels, the function as they are supposed to, and look quite nice. I will be buying more.
This review is for a 5 pack of honeycomb kitchen towels. They are just ok. I expected more of a heavier or thicker fabric. They remind me of a cloth napkin. The khaki color is very nice. The design is on only one side. It does have a piece of fabric for hanging sewn on one of the corners, which I liked. They washed and dried ok. They are not very absorbent because they are so thin. I don’t think I will be using these to dry dishes.
These indigo blue 100% cotton honeycomb weave kitchen towels are every bit as durable as they feel. After loads of use with a full household, they've held up impressively—no significant fraying, shrinkage, or fade, which is rare at this price point. The honeycomb pattern boosts absorbency and dries fast, making them really practical for busy days. I have nothing against polyester, but I love finding kitchen towels in 100% cotton. It seems microfiber (a polyester product) is taking over when it comes to kitchen towels, so I'm vey happy to have found classic cotton cup towels. The are soft and absorbent and the subtle design woven into the fabric is also classic and looks very nice. Keep in mind these are smooth towels, what I have always seen called "cup towels." They are not terry cloth like a bathroom hand towel. They are full-size cup towels and fit my countertop towel hanger perfectly. They are great size for drying dishes and also drying hands. They have gotten softer and more absorbent with each wash, and come out of the dryer feeling smooth and fresh. They come in a lovely selection of colors; I chose dark gray but am now longing for the yellow or green. Overall, I'm very pleased with these cup towels and their quality. And especially the classic 100% cotton.
This is an unexciting pack of kitchen towels that weirdly smelled like lemon cleanser when I pulled them out of the package. Did someone spray them with pledge before packing them up to cover some other smell? Very peculiar.But it’s fine, because I washed them, so the smell is no big deal. The quality is good, as is the value here. These are forgettable dish towels for anyone who doesn’t look to their kitchen wares for excitement and pizazz.
