I purchase a lot of Lenox. I have several porcelain serving & salad bowls, but I don't like them for everyday use on my granite countertops. Though they have not chipped after 10 years of use, it may be because I'm careful with them. I wanted to try the melamine salad bowl and glad I did. I don't have to be so careful with it. It's pretty!!
