Beautiful Flatware
I am very impressed with this Lenox Portola Mirror flatware set. The pieces have a beautiful mirror finish that looks elegant on the table without being over-the-top. Each utensil feels well balanced and sturdy in your hand, not flimsy like some sets can be.The design is classic and timeless, making it perfect for both everyday use and special occasions. It pairs nicely with a variety of dinnerware styles. After multiple washes, the flatware still looks shiny with no spotting, rusting, or discoloration.Overall, this is a high-quality, stylish set that lives up to the Lenox name. I would definitely recommend it if you’re looking for flatware that’s durable, comfortable to use, and adds a touch of sophistication to your table

Simple, elegant, and quality.
This set is really pretty. It includes four of each: dinner knife, dinner fork, dinner spoon, salad fork, and teaspoon. The dinner knife is 235 mm long and weighs 148 grams (9 1/4 inches, 5.2 ounces). The dinner fork is 211 mm long and weighs 61 grams (8 3/8 inches, 2.2 ounces). The salad fork is 183 mm long and weighs 41 grams (7 1/4 inches, 1.4 ounces). The dinner spoon is 180 mm long and weighs 51 grams (7 1/8 inches, 1.8 ounces). The teaspoon is 160 mm long and weighs 36 grams (6 9/16 inches, 1.3 ounces). As you can see in the numbers, the dinner knife has some weight and it feels very solid. The decorative band on the handle near the blade provides a nice reference point for my thumb or index finger. The blade is serrated on one side from the tip to about halfway down the blade and feels moderately sharp in that section. It is able to handle typical dinner-time cutting when a steak knife isn’t desired. The remainder of the blade is finished like a butter knife. The dinner and salad forks are both longer than the ones I have been using, but comparing the dimensions of the Lenox set to what you are currently using is probably the best way to get a feel for the size. The forks and the spoons are all similar in that the handle profile flares outward and upward at the end. All the handles have a curved band detail with 9 rounded raised dots. The thickness of the handles is about 2.4 mm.This set has a mirror finish, which makes them look elegant. However, they do show fingerprints and smudges. I appreciate the style, and I think the decorative detail on the handles is just right for everyday use. These are so nice that I’m likely to purchase an additional set to complete an eight-piece set. Considering they’re priced at just over $3 per piece today, I believe this set offers excellent quality and value.

No rust!
I am inherently skeptical of modern flatware, even from brand names I recognize, as the stainless steel just doesn’t seem to be the same quality as it once was. I’ve tested so many that show rust spots after just one trip through the dishwasher that it is actually quite frustrating. So far, this Lenox set has been the exception. I’ve had the opportunity to run these through the wash a few times now, and no sign of rust or pitting. The second picture is actually taken after several uses.Stainless issue being solved, let’s talk about the rest. These pieces are of a considerable heft and actually feel like something in your hand. They are exactly what you would hope for at this price point. The finish is shiny chrome, so if you are looking for matte, this set isn’t for you. The design is versatile in the fact that it is classic. It is not overly ornate, so it’s not your grandma’s flatware, but it is also not so plain that it looks like the stamped out stuff at the corner diner. It will meld into lots of kitchen designs from continental to contemporary.I particularly like the shape and feel of the knives. They are strong enough for basic cutting and shaped for smooth spreading. Really nothing bad to say here, and I’ve already ordered another set to get service for eight.

Great set of utensils
Update: one knife starting to rust after a month of useThis set is an addition to my current collection. After using these for a week, I found myself looking for this set to use instead of my usual set.The handles are smooth, comfortable and well balanced. Neither the head nor the tail of this utensil is too heavy.Definitely a good choice and when my kids are moving out for college, I can see myself buying this set for their apartment.
