I have severe arthritis in my dominant hand, and even though these are larger in circumference than my previous glasses, they allow me to lift and maintain my grip on the glass so it feels secure in my hand. No more glasses slipping out of my hand and shattering on the floor.Yes, as others submitted, there are two vertical seams running top to bottom. To me they are hardly noticeable, even with water in them.So if you are looking for an attractive, inexpensive (8-pack people!), EASY-TO-HOLD set of glasses, search no further!

They look great, are easy to hold and I was happy with the price. Note: with glass, always inspect when first opening. I found a tiny crack on the rim of one and a small chip on the rim at the blue ribbon. The box was perfect, so these were defects that slipped past manufacturer QA.
