Must buy!
I got these for hosting Easter to have a fun method for serving mimosas. They were a huge hit! The size is perfect for mimosas, wine, or fruity drinks. I love the brass gold color outside -- it contrasts perfect with the stainless steel metals and neutral colors in my home, and looks super cute visible in my glass cabinets. In order to tell guest glasses apart, I separately purchased stainless rings and charms that easily hang from the straws. (See photo)I was worried that lipstick might stain the silicone straw toppers, but it didn't... at least not on this use. No one was wearing a dark lipstick color, though. I let them soak in vinegar with a little baking soda followed by a traditional dish soap cleaning.I cleaned all the flutes by hand with dish soap and promptly dried. To help ensure the bottom doesn't rust or peel, I sprayed vinegar on dry paper towel and wiped inside the bottom ring to ensure it was thoroughly dry.Although these look kid-sized, I definitely would use caution allowing young folks to use these. The gold finish on metal, although it looks durable, is most certainly delicate. The metal straw could use be a fall hazard for kiddos or elders. Save these for responsible adult use.I plan to get some striped disposable paper straws (gold, kraft, or jute colored) as an easy alternative to the provided metal straws. Flexible straws will be safer for using these on the boat.Overall, these are a fabulous value for an elevated drinking experience. Highly recommend!
