Store them in a drawer

For the most part, this knife block gets it right. I can understand the difficulty in designing a product like this that has to try to work with as many different knives and brands possible. The handle design of your knives will largely dictate if this item works for you. For the most part, my Cutco knives fit just fine and the magnetic assistance in the long knife slots is greatly appreciated. The item is made from a somewhat thin plastic, but once it is in a drawer in use, I don't see any issues at all.

Wow! This is a great little knife sorter. Instead of an unorganized knife drawer, now all the knives, large and small, have a magnetized slot that keeps them in place until you use them. It’s fantastic and doesn’t even take up the whole drawer’s space, so there’s room for other sharp things like a pizza cutter, veggie peeler, can opener, corn ends, etc. what a genius way to organize knives!
