It’s Skinny or It’s Fat - and It Fits In Any Drawer You Have!

This silverware drawer organizer is handy and I love that you can use it in a narrow cabinet drawer for just the basics: forks, knives, spoons and teaspoons — OR expand it to include miscellaneous kitchen accessories like coffee spoons, vegetable peelers, corkscrews, steak knives and the like. The material it is made out of is plastic but seems durable enough to withstand most intended daily use cases. It did arrive with a faint chemical odor when I first unboxed it - so I let it “breathe” for two days on my sun porch- then washed it with regular dish soap- and it had zero lingering odor at all. This is good because the last thing you want where you place your silverware going into your tastebuds is a strange, chemical odor. But I am happy to report that the faint odor fully resolved with time and proper washing.I believe this is a good value for this price point for this product. This minimalist silverware organizer is so much better than the typical sad offerings of the same concept at major discount retailers - and this guy packs a lot of creative energy with its ability to shrink or expand - depending on your own domestic needs. I like to think of it as my “starter silverware organizer with room to grow.” In that sense, this makes a great house warming gift and/or is perfect for a first apartment or dorm setting.I definitely recommend this product and encourage others to try it for all of your silverware organizational needs.

Shallow compartments. Difficult to adjust- rails can come off alignment

LIFEWIT Silverware Drawer Organizer, Expandable Utensil Tray, Adjustable Holder, 12-20.3 x 11.3-19.4 x 1.7, Black:Who doesn't want to better organize their utensil drawer? I got this expandable organizer because it has a very unique design. Not only can it expand sideways but lengthwise as well. In fact, when fully expanded it's about twice as wide as my kitchen drawer. So it can definitely expand to a big footprint.INSTRUCTIONS: I did not care for the instructions. Instead of having separate sections for each language, it does all 12 languages in a row. So you'll have instruction 1 in12 languages. Then on page ² you'll have instruction 2 in 12 languages and so on. It ends up taking 8 page panels to get through the manual. This the organizer should be intuitive but I went to the double check to make sure there wasn't any sort of locking mechanisms to keep it in place. There aren't. It's free flowing and doesn't lock into place. It can be adjusted without needing to press any sort of release mechanisms.DRAWER ORGANIZER: The idea of an expanding shelf is a good idea but the problem with this model is the badly designed rails/tracks. Unless you pull it open at the exact middle with perfect balance, it can expand crookedly and jam (pic1). The tolerances are not so good either. A rail on 1 side keeps popping off the track (pic3). This could have been so much better if the tracks were metal or at least used ball bearings so it would slide on a tighter track. The last thing to know about the drawer is it's not very deep. Despite the extremely wide and long length that this drawer can expand to, it's not very deep as far as internal storage. In fact, The internal depth is only about 1.3-1.4inches tall (pic3).So, despite the accordion flexibility of its length and width, it has shallow compartments. These narrow and shallow compartments were not able to fit my larger sized cutlery (pic4). This seems best suited for forks, spoons, and butter knives.FINAL THOUGHTS: This is a good idea and well priced. My only 2 issues with this drawer organizer is the difficulty of adjusting its sizing because of the poorly designed railing and, my issue with the shallow narrow compartments which makie it difficult to fit larger sized cutlery (pic4).For standard forks, spoons and butter knives, this is a great way to get things organized in your drawer. I would have liked a bit better build quality and clearer instructions than what was included (pics5+6). The wide flexibility of sizing makes this accommodate almost any sized drawer. Despite it's shortcomings in its build quality, this has earned a place in my kitchen and I would still recommend it.

Lifewit Silverware Drawer Organizer – Thoughtful Design, Full‑Drawer Coverage, and Excellent Value

This organizer uses a bi‑directional expansion system that lets you adjust both width and depth, giving you a custom fit for almost any drawer. With four main compartments and three expandable sections, it handles everything from forks and spoons to larger utensils. The BPA‑free plastic is sturdy, easy to clean, and the non‑slip pads keep it from shifting around. It’s versatile enough to use beyond the kitchen for tools, cosmetics, or office supplies.Personal ExperienceFor the price, this is easily the best utensil organizer I’ve owned. The ability to expand in all directions means it covers the entire drawer without needing a separate liner. The plastic is thick, durable, and washes up quickly. For something most people barely think about, this one was clearly designed with care and attention to detail.Final VerdictA well‑built, fully adjustable organizer that maximizes drawer space and delivers outstanding value. 5 stars.

Adjustable fit is awesome

Pros: the adjustable nature of this is great. Whether you're trying to fit serving utensils or everyday spoons and forks, this is a really good, adjustable option. It fits to many different sized drawers and also opens and closes both horizontally and vertically. The price is also a great value, especially with the adjustable nature of things.Cons: the only downside I find is that this is quite shallow. For a handful of silverware, it's fine, but if you have a larger family, use reusable utensils, or even intend to keep more than about 4-5 forks or spoons at a time, I do wish this were a bit deeper to keep things in place, or that it would open up to get taller as needed, not just wider in several directions.I overall really love this and feel much more organized, drawer-wise. In fact, I'm considering buying a second one in order to use in a second drawer that could use a tidy-up.
