Very happy with my purchase. An unexpected fun little something in your cocktail. Used them for an evening backyard event. They were a hit!!! Worked well. Light up when in liquid and turn off when dry. One color light is not an option so colors alternate while they’re in liquid - not a problem my guests love them!!! Some took them home and those left behind were cleaned, dried and ready for the next event.
Cute light up fake ice cubes adorable and adult drinks and children love them. My grandkids will actually drink water just to use these like cubes.

These battery-powered LED "ice cubes" are just as described: they turn on when water touches two screws on the side, which starts the LEDs in a slowly changing succession of colors. They rotate through a primary color about every 5 seconds. When several are used, the colors soon go "out of sync" so that they colors aren't all the same.They are not intended to be frozen like ice cubes, and the instructions say not even to refrigerate them. They just light up your drink, not for cooling. Unlike ice, they will not float in the drink. They are 1" on each side, and have no moving parts or switches. Dry them off and they go off. Batteries are not replaceable, and reportedly last 15-30 hours. (I did not test this.)Be sure to wash thoroughly when unpackaged so they will be ready for use. 5 aluminum straws and brush cleaner are included.
If you're a fan of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, like me, this might give some Tesseract vibes. That's the main reason I got them. You get a bunch of cubes, probably far more than you really need. But they're going to be a lot of fun if you have a spring/summertime party. The size is exactly what you'd expect if you've ever seen them, so there's no issue with that. The light could even last for up to 30 hours, and you can get repeated use out of them.
What a fun but entirely unnecessary item for social functions! Do you need it, maybe not, but I knew when I saw it that I had to have it. We have lots of family get togethers as we like to have gatherings at our place especially at night so we can play movies on the projector in our back yard. It is always great fun and these light up ice cubes will really add a touch of extra-ness to the events. I don't pretend to understand the concept behind it but they light up only when they are submerged in liquid. Very fun and colorful all around. How can you go wrong with these? They note that the battery life can last anywhere from 15-30 hours which is fairly nice. The only thing is these are much bigger in real life than I imagines they would be. Otherwise, I'm quite pleased.
The perfect accent for any party! These are such cool lights for your drink and look really unique. The only downfall is you cannot freeze them. They are very durable. Make sure you clean them before using and enjoy making every drink fun!
