This apple slicer is sturdy and extremely well made. It reminds me of the good products my grandmother used to have that never tarnished or broke. It slices big apples and does do easily. What a treat to finally get a good quality cooking tool that works beautifully!
Great apple slicer, very sharp so buyer beware! you could cut a finger tip off! Easy to use and easy to clear. I love it because it saves time and even my husband manages to use it to make his snacks. I'm glad I selected the 8-slice since it makes the larger slices. It's easy to slice the pieces in half if you want them thinner for pies or a tart but having them thicker also makes it a good slice for making up into a cobbler or just for tucking into a box lunch. And the stainless steel is sturdy- no more plastic breaking in my hands!
I cut my first apple (a very crisp Envy) and it did a perfect job of removing the core and making perfect slices, all without much effort or force. I appreciate the full metal construction as it seems more durable than a plastic model and made me more confident in my grip of the slicer. This is going to make it so easy to make apple crisps!
Nice sturdy slicer for apples, pears, etc. Easy to handle and is all metal, so we look forward to using it for many years.
My last apple slicer broke because the plastic handle snapped. I decided to get one that was stainless steel because I felt like it would be sturdier. This thing feels very sturdy. Slices right through an apple with no problem. Very easy to clean. I'm happy with it!
My apple slicer broke just before Christmas! It could not have happened at a worse time! I had to slice all of those apples by hand! When my new apple slicer arrived, I checked itzz out. I was immediately impressed! The whole slicer is made of stainless steel and the edges are SHARP! My old slicer was plastic and NOTHING was sharp! I immediately made an apple pie for my husband, just to see how it works! It was a dream! Next Christmas, you can be sure that I'm volunteering for all of the apple dishes!All kidding aside, this apple slicer is a winner! I am so glad that I bought it and you will be, too!
Very good , my kids broke all my previous cutters with plastic handles and this one is very strong . It’s not a fine finished product and looks rustic , but overall does the job well.
