Elegant way to prepare and keep bread
I love the way it looks. It haas an elegant country kitchen appeal to it. The fabric is the perfect weight. The color and pattern are very nice!The bowl cover is heavy enough to kepp out nasties while still allowing the dough to breath. The bowl cover has plenty of stretch so that it handles most bowls I use.The storage bag is the right size for the 900g loaves I make. The bag has a drawstring closure that works smoothly. There were several stray threads that needed to be trimmed off. The bag is a fabric covred plastic bag. That plastic bag is heavyweight. With care, it will last a long time. However, it is plastic. Some breads like being in plastic. Some do not. In either case, the crust does soften. The plastic liner does invert for cleaning.I love having good looking equipment. "Out of sight means out of mind" is a problem for me. This storage bag looks good out on the kitchen countertop.These are a great value for the upcoming holiday (i.e. bread baking) season.

Useful and looks great
This is a great set if you make your own bread. The storage bag is large for a nice large loaf of bread and is lined with plastic to keep the bread fresh. I like the draw string closure and the design is a nice cottage/farm house feel so it looks cute. The proofing cover is good for a medium size bowl and works great for the proofing stage to allow air in but keeps bugs and other things out. I do wish it was also lined as the dough rises over the bowl it sticks to the material so be aware when proofing. Overall a cute useful set.

I selected this for my spouse who has an interest in making bread, but has not attempted it yet. The bag is excellent quality and the plastic liner makes it easy to clean. We have already used the bowl cover while baking in between batches so it has proven useful beyond bread. The style of the bag looks more like something you'd find at my Mom's house, but it still looks really nice. Very happy with it!

This linen bread storage bag and bowl cover it is really functional, I was concerned with how the bread storage bag was going to keep the bread from going stale with it being linen but upon my surprise of opening it up the inside is totally lined with a silicone bag meaning it will be airtight when you close the linen bag up. With it being lined with food grade silicone it also allows for easy cleanup on the inside of the bag or you can just throw this directly in the wash. The bowl cover is not lined with silicone but it does have a really good thin elastic band around the edges and I found that it fit every single mixing bowl that I use to prove my sourdough bread. Overall these have really good quality with a good value for the money and I would recommend them.

Pays for itself in no time
I know some children who are learning to make bread. (Their parents don't eat it, so if they want some, they have to make it themselves.) They are using a very simple recipe that I taught them, which is easy and virtually foolproof. It requires a few hours for the bread to rise. The bowl cover helps with that.And when the bread comes out of the oven, it needs a place to be stored. The bag provides that -- although in reality, with four siblings, a loaf doesn't really last long enough to need much storage. :^DThese have a lovely classic look to them -- not busy, but also not as boring as plain bleached cloth.The interior lining does help keep bread from drying out, although you want to avoid putting it in until it's cooled to room temperature, to avoid condensation.With the money you save on store-bought bread, this kit will pay for itself in no time.
