Fabric has flaws; hemstitch trim appears to be synthetic
I've ordered this product in Navy Blue (regular and hemstitch) and Christmas (formerly: Emerald) Green (regular).Fabric quality and craftsmanship: The fabric has flaws (yarn knots, thread ends sticking out of the weave, thread that evaded the weave for a few rows); and the border is not always sewn on exactly straight. If you aren't finicky, these issues may not bother you. One green tablecloth arrived with small stains on it (not very prominent because the fabric is fairly dark, but still noticeable).Dimensions: when I measured, they were smaller than the advertised 60" x 90".Fabric weight: it seems to be within the advertised range of 250 +/5% GSM (at the low end), or nearly so; the dark color of the Navy Blue and Christmas Green make the fabric less sheer than it might be in lighter colors.Color: the Navy Blue is a deep, dark shade. Christmas Green was still called Emerald Green when I ordered it in July 2025. The product images are misleading, at least on my screen: they show a rich, vibrant, deep bluish-green hue of emerald green, but the actual color is a darkish, dull, yellow-leaning shade.Hemstitch vs. regular: The hemstitch border definitely looks more elegant than the regular one; but the hemstitch trim and its backing look shiny and synthetic. The seller asserted that the hemstitch trim is made of cotton; but it does not look or feel at all like cotton. The regular style is free of synthetic trim, but its border and fabric look the same on both sides; I must find the tag to determine which side of the tablecloth should be facing up.Pre-wash (?): Whereas the linen bag arrived looking new and unwashed, the tablecloths arrived looking as though they might have been pre-washed (though not advertised as such); on the other hand, they had stray bits of thread on them (and shed a tremendous amount of lint), suggesting that they might nevertheless be new.Summary: while the accompanying linen bag is a nice bonus, the main selling point of these tablecloths is the fabric weight of 250 GSM +/-5% advertised for certain colors and styles, which is considered a "medium" weight. Most other Oeko-Tex 100%-linen tablecloths I've checked on Amazon are said to be ~160-170 GSM (a "light" weight that is pretty sheer, especially if the fabric color is light); but some of those lightweight tablecloths are considerably less expensive AND appear to be better crafted (and don't arrive looking pre-washed). In my opinion, these Linen World 250 GSM tablecloths are overpriced in consideration of their shortcomings (dimensions smaller than advertised, fabric flaws, etc.).

Good. Not as bad as some reviews suggest.
I found this tablecloth good for the price. I wasn’t sure what to expect, having read some reviews saying it didn’t press well or lay flat, or that the fabric seemed synthetic. It feels like what it advertised, to me… 100% linen (maybe that reviewer was confused, as the label reads “100% flax… same thing.) I treated it as I would any linen tablecloth (don’t put it in the dryer, press while still damp) and it came out pretty good. It did take some easing to get the corners flat, as the seams are a bit tight, but nothing out of the ordinary for a mass-market linen. I suppose it’s possible the reviewers rating this tablecloth low are unused to handling linen, but I found it as expected. And it looks great.
